Who we are
Source Code Tech Solutions W.L.L (“Source Code”, “we”, “us”) is a technology company registered in the State of Qatar under Commercial Registration No. 200338, formerly trading as Genesis Advertising. We build AI agents, enterprise AI platforms, mobile apps and custom software.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. That means we decide why and how it is used, and we are the ones you hold responsible for it.

What this policy covers
This policy explains what happens to personal data collected through sourcecode.qa — including the Arabic version of the site at sourcecode.qa/ar/ — when you browse it, submit an enquiry, book a demo, request a trial, request a free AI audit, or download our company profile.
It does not cover:
- Data we process on behalf of a client under a signed services agreement. In that situation the client is the controller and their own privacy notice applies; we act as processor under the terms of that contract.
- Software we have built for a client and which the client operates. Those products have their own privacy notices.
- Third-party websites you reach by following a link from ours.
The information we collect
Information you give us
Every form on this site is optional. You choose whether to fill one in, and what to put in it. Depending on the form, we ask for some or all of the following:
| What | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Name | Every form |
| Email address | Every form. This is the only field we always require, because without it we cannot reply. |
| Phone number | Most forms, optional |
| Company name and your role | Demo, trial, partnership and profile-download forms |
| Website address | The free AI audit form, so we can review the site you asked about |
| Your answers to the intake questions | The guided forms on Start a project, Free AI audit, Partnerships and Startup |
| Anything you write in a free-text box | Descriptions of your problem, project or idea |
Please do not send us confidential, commercially sensitive or personal information about other people through a web form. If you need to share something sensitive, contact us first and we will agree a secure route and, where appropriate, a non-disclosure agreement.
Information collected automatically
When you submit a form, our server also records the following alongside your message, so that we can operate the site securely and defend it against abuse:
- Your IP address
- Your browser and device type (the user-agent string your browser sends)
- The page you submitted from and the page that referred you to it
- The date and time of the submission, and whether you used the English or Arabic site
Our hosting provider additionally keeps standard server logs. We do not use these to build a profile of you.
What we do not collect
We think it is as useful to tell you what is not happening on this site:
- There are no analytics or advertising trackers — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no heatmap or session-recording tools.
- There are no embedded third-party widgets — no YouTube players, no embedded maps, no social feeds. Our social media icons are ordinary links.
- We do not buy, sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not enrich what you give us with data bought from anyone else.
- We do not use your enquiry to train AI models, whether our own or anyone else’s.
Why we use your information
We use what you send us for these purposes and no others:
- To answer you. Replying to your enquiry, preparing a demo, running the free audit you asked for, or setting up a trial.
- To prepare a proposal. Understanding your requirement well enough to scope and price the work.
- To keep a record. Retaining the enquiry so a colleague can pick it up, and so we know what was discussed if you come back to us later.
- To protect the site. Detecting and blocking automated spam submissions, and rate-limiting abusive traffic.
- To meet our legal obligations under Qatari commercial, tax and accounting law where an enquiry becomes a contract.
We rely on your consent, given by choosing to submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping our systems secure. You can withdraw consent at any time — see Your rights.
We do not make any decision about you by automated means alone.
Where your information is stored
Enquiries submitted through this site are stored in a database on the web server that hosts sourcecode.qa, and a copy of each enquiry is sent to our company mailbox.
Where a provider we use stores or processes data outside the State of Qatar, we take steps to satisfy ourselves that the transfer meets the requirements of Qatari data protection law and that the data receives a comparable level of protection. If you would like to know the current location of your data, ask us and we will tell you.
How long we keep it
| Record | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not lead to a project | 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted |
| Enquiries that become a client relationship | For the life of the relationship, then in line with the retention terms of the contract |
| Contracts, invoices and accounting records | For the period required by Qatari commercial and tax law |
| Technical records (IP address, user agent, server logs) | 12 months |
| Marketing consent records | Until you unsubscribe, plus a minimal record of the unsubscribe itself so we can honour it |
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner. We will, unless we are required to keep it for a legal or accounting reason, in which case we will tell you which reason applies.
How we protect it
Security is our trade, and we apply the same standards to our own systems that we build for clients:
- The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit.
- The enquiry database sits outside the public web root and is not reachable from a browser.
- The internal enquiry panel requires a password, is protected against cross-site request forgery, and times out when idle. It is excluded from search engines.
- Access is limited to staff who need it to do their job.
- Submissions are rate-limited and screened for automated spam.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by Qatari law.
Your rights
Under Law No. (13) of 2016 concerning Personal Data Privacy Protection and its implementing decisions, you have the right to:
- Be told how your personal data is being processed — which is the purpose of this policy.
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Have it corrected if it is wrong, or completed if it is incomplete.
- Have it erased where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it.
- Object to processing, including asking us to stop using your data for direct marketing — a request we will always honour.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] with the words Data request in the subject line. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
Marketing
Submitting an enquiry asks us to reply to that enquiry. It does not sign you up to anything.
We will only send you marketing — newsletters, event invitations, product announcements — if you have separately agreed to receive it. Every such message carries a one-click unsubscribe, and we act on it immediately. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop us replying to an active enquiry or corresponding with you about live project work.
Children's privacy
This website is aimed at businesses, government entities and founders. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
Our site links out to third parties — client sites, partner organisations, event pages, our own social media profiles and WhatsApp. Following such a link takes you somewhere we do not control. This policy stops at the edge of our site; once you arrive, the privacy policy of that site applies. We suggest you read it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, our systems or the law change. The date at the top of the page always tells you when the current version took effect. If a change materially affects how we handle data you have already given us, we will make reasonable efforts to tell you directly rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
